• Dr. Bhargav Ram & Dr. Somashekhar secured first prize in quiz competition at Yenepoya University conducted on Feb 14 2022.
• Dr. Prasanna Kumar and Dr. Mahabaleshwara CH are felicitated for the contributions made in alumni and audio visual committee for 45th national conference of AOMSI.
• Dr. SNEHA KULKARNI secured 7th rank in RGUHS Examination in the year 2020-2021
• Dr.Dhaya Ann Varghese won 2nd place in E-Poster session at 24th Mid-term Conference & 10th PG Convention of AOMSI held on 30th, 31st July & 1st August 2021 on Virtual Platform.

Workshop & CDE

Dr. Prasanna Kumar D. is heading the department since September 2020. Under his able guidance, the department has flourished in various arenas like academics challenging clinical scenarios and personality developing extracurricular activities.

Owing to the efforts and clairvoyance of Dr.Prasanna Kumar D.and coguidance from the Dept of periodontics and Dept of Prosthodontics, a very welcome addition has been made in the curriculum, in the form of a 3 module certificate course on Dental Implantology in association with Dentium.

2016 was a special year for K.V.G.Dental college and hospital in general and the Dept. of oral & maxillofacial surgery in particular. It marked 25 years of spreading knowledge and enlightening young minds. To celebrate this milestone, a myriad of workshops and CDEs were conducted across the year, which concentrated on creating skilled, bright and competitive clinicians.
