Anti tobacco rally was conducted as a part of Awareness regarding the ill effects of Tobacco by Departments of Public health dentistry, Oral medicine and Radiology and Oral pathology and Microbiology in coordination with the TCC of KVG dental College and Hospital on 1st June 2023.
Oral cancer screening camp was conducted as a part of Anti Tobacco Day celebration on 31st May 2023 at the Rubber milk collection Centre, Medinadka. Head of the departments, staffs and students participated in the oral cancer screening camp. Dr Jayaprasad Anekar gave a talk regarding the ill effects of Tobacco followed by Skit by the students to raise awareness.
A drawing competition was conducted among staffs, pgs and ugs on the theme " we need food, not Tobacco" as a part of Anti Tobacco day on 31st May 2023.
